The Beacon Trouser

Anatomy meets silhouette.  Volume created with consideration to the wearer’s own forms.  The Beacon trouser is built combining traditional trouser patternmaking and avant garde volumes.  Volume starts at the high waist and continues through the wearer’s thighs, and then quickly tapers from articulated knees.  No garment is an island, all are symbiotic with their wearer.  No garment is built on even ground, but rather the undulating and uneven terrain of the human form.  This silhouette is an exploration of what that means, and the responsibility of the garment to the wearer.
